Did you attend our first Dinner in the Dark? Then you’re in for a treat with an even more elevated experience! Is it your first time dining with us for a private event? Then get excited!!! At sign up, you’ll choose from one of two secret menus. We’ve provided some intriguing descriptions to keep you guessing! Both menus contain rich, deep flavors, a variety of texture, and lots of color! The night begins with a signature mocktail designed to awaken the tastebuds. Once seated, we’ll prep you for the experience and you’ll put on your custom blindfolds (yours to keep!) to ready for course one. Throughout the meal you’ll enjoy curated sounds designed to relax and allow you to focus on every aspect of your meal. Savor, touch, and smell- it’s all part of the dinner! After dessert we’ll display the dinner items so you can see what you ate, snap some pics, and chat about the meal.

We had a fabulous time in the dark…let’s do it again! As part of the Huntsville Convention Bureau’s Culinary Month celebration, The Veggie is bringing you our second installment of Dinner in the Dark!!! Join us on August 16 for one of our two seatings- 5:30pm and 8pm. Guests will have a grand sensory experience as they drink and eat, totally blindfolded! This night is curated with special sounds, a delicious mocktail, and three secret menu courses. It’s the perfect night out with friends, a special someone, or even solo!

  • We’ve curated an exciting, immersive dining experience that we’ve dubbed, Dinner in the Dark. Similar experiences happen around the world and now, we’re creating our own here in the Rocket City! Attending allows guests to savor a specially curated menu of seasonal delights. At sign up you’ll choose from one of two mystery menus. When you arrive, mingle and enjoy our signature mocktail. Once seated and the lights go down, you’ll be given a branded blindfold, yours to keep, and you’ll be served three courses of delicious, plant-based food.

  • While we can’t reveal the exact names of the dishes for this mystery menu selection, you will be provided with descriptions that allow you to choose the experience you want. Each guest may only choose one menu and cannot change it the night of the event. If you have allergies, please provide this information at sign up so that we can make the necessary alterations. We cannot guarantee accommodation of same day changes or requests.

  • Our friendly staff will be serving you each course in an organized manner. This event is most fun with a friend or partner so that you all can get creative in helping each other taste the array of flavors provided. We ask that you do not remove your blindfold during the event so you can enjoy the full experience as intended.

  • Attendees are asked to stay blindfolded through the experience. Our photographer will be sure to capture beautiful moments throughout the dinner and we can even help capture photos for you as well!
